Power Vac America receives 2004 Safety Award

POWER VAC AMERICA was presented the Outstanding Achievement Safety Award by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).  At the annual meeting and exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 7th through 11th, 2004, the National Air Duct Cleaners Association presented this award to POWER VAC AMERICA in recognition of its outstanding safety record of non-fatal occupational injury and illness incidence rates in 2002, 2003, and 2004 which were calculated to be less than the industry average using standardized formulas developed by the National safety and Health Council

POWER VAC AMERICA has received the Safety Award from NADCA since 1998.  The application submitted to NADCA included POWER VAC AMERICA’S 2004 OSHA 300 Logs representing all zeros on the incident report and “No Reported Injuries”.

POWER VAC AMERICA’S safety and health manual was adopted from NADCA’S  safety and health manual and will be updated to reflect the changes in the new NADCA safety and health manual.

POWER VAC AMERICA’S staff has also spent many hours at the Houston Area Safety Council taking their Basic Plus training, Home Land Security training, Confined space training, Lock/Tag/Try training and several “site” specific training and testing classes.

POWER VAC AMERICA is proud of it’s safety record and strives to meet and satisfy the safety requirements of OSHA, NADCA, HASC, and all of it’s customers.
