Happy New Year!

2009 was a very busy year for Power Vac America.  Hurricane Ike related work carried through the end of 2008 and well into the second quarter of 2009.  From there, we never slowed down.

With the Bid Room expanding to include a new plotter and new fax server, we double the number of “spec and plan” proposals from the previous year.

The estimating department continues to review and refine it’s procedures and was able to increase the number of estimates by 20%.

After being awarded both the GSA and TXMAS contracts, Power Vac America’s customers were able to immediately take advantage of both of these contracts.

The year ended just as busy as as it began with the launch of a new website, the return of one of our technicians from Navy service in Iraq, and my appointment to the 2010 Board of Directors for ACCA Greater Houston.

We are excited about 2010.  We look forward to being able to serve our customers and solve their indoor air quality related problems.

Happy New Year,

Doug Long, ASCS
